For we are all sinners

For we are all sinners. All people are sinners. “No one is righteous — not even one.” Romans 3:10 And it is almost as if all do not care, all have turned away from the way, from God, from Christ. We no longer resemble our creator but instead resemble our selfishness and desires. We believe that we are self-sufficient and we forget that we did not create ourselves but instead that we were created by God. We run away attempting to fulfill our desires, our goals, our emptiness. An emptiness that appears to not ever fill up even when we have it all, even when we have achieved every single little thing that was on our check-list. Somehow we are raised in a society that fosters the idea of super heroes, self made people and we are lead to believe that we are gods, that we are strong, that we are powerful and yet we forget that we cannot control or rather the fact that have no control over our body’s health and we may die when it pleases God. But in midst of it all God still loved us, he still loved his creation. And allowed for our relationship with him to be restored through his Son making the ultimate sacrifice that cleansed us from our sins, when we make the decision to repent of our sinful ways and recognize that we are mere humans and not gods. Only God can fill in the emptiness, because He is the creator.
